Full-time or Part-time

BCBA

Case management position that is responsible for assessing clients behavioral/skill level and using that data to build the clients individualized programs and intervention strategies. The BCBA is responsible for completing documentation including daily session note, treatment plan, and updates to behavior plans, intervention strategies and programs. 

A candidate for this position should be able to provide constructive feedback in a polite and professional manner. Exceptional communication and time management skills are a must. A candidate must be demonstrate calmness, confidence and self-regulation skills when managing behaviors. 

Qualifications- BCBA certification, 1 year case management experience, 3 years experience work with children

Full-time or Part-time

RBT

A registered behavior technician (RBT) works one-on-one with each client according to that clients individualized program book provided by the supervising BCBA. An RBT is responsible for completing daily session notes and meeting supervision requirements set forth by the governing board. 

An RBT must be patient, kind and creative. As an RBT, a person should possess exceptional communication skills and be comfortable and confident with managing high intensity behaviors. RBTs receive consistent feedback and should be capable of accepting feedback professionally. 

Qualifications- active RBT certification and minimum of 1 year experience working with children, (preferred 1 year working with children with developmental deficits)


How to become an RBT

FIRST complete 40 hours online course (Relias Academy is recommended but not required), competency (completed by supervising BCBA), NEXT upload competency, 40 hour certificate of completion and high school or college transcripts to apply for RBT certificate, LASTLY schedule exam. Typically active within a week of passing exam.
